This policy explains what Belora Live collects, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and how to delete it. It covers the Belora Live iOS and Android apps and these pages. Belora Live is an 18+ service.

When you claim a username we record that reservation so nobody else can take it while it is yours. A username can be changed at most once every 14 days. When you delete your account the reservation is kept for 30 days with your account identifier removed from it, then released. The reservation exists so that somebody cannot immediately take a handle a member has just stopped using and impersonate them; it holds no other information about you after deletion.
We use a small number of service providers. They process data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers. We may disclose data if required by law, or where necessary to investigate a credible threat to someone's safety.
Your photos, first name, username, city, gender, prompt answers and the compatibility score between you and them. Your phone number, email address, exact date of birth, time of birth and birth coordinates are never shown to another member. Your verification selfie is never shown to another member.
In Belora Pulse, no profile is shown until after the pulse has been held; a first name appears at pairing. In Belora Orbit, watching a room reveals nothing about you to anyone in it.
For as long as your account exists, and then as described below. Backups are overwritten on a rolling cycle and are fully purged within 30 days of deletion. Reports and moderation records may be retained after deletion where we need them to keep somebody safe or to meet a legal obligation.
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. If your account has been suspended, the same option is available on the suspended screen. There is also a web route at delete-account.
Deletion removes your profile, all profile photos, your verification selfie, your birth details and coordinates, your images and voice notes sent in chat, your likes and passes, your messages, your live-session records, your derived compatibility data, your purchase linkage, and your authentication record. If you signed in with Apple, we also call Apple's token revocation endpoint so Belora Live no longer appears under Settings → Apple ID → Sign in with Apple.
Two things do not disappear immediately, and we would rather say so plainly:
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Most of this is available in the app; for anything else, email us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, our lawful bases are performance of our contract with you (running the service), legitimate interests (safety and abuse prevention), consent (optional items such as the verification selfie and notifications), and legal obligation. If you are in India, you may contact the address below to exercise your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
Belora Live is strictly 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. Date of birth is enforced at sign-up and on our servers, and an account we believe belongs to a minor is removed. See our Child Safety Standards.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our infrastructure provider. Access to production data is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you and the relevant authority of a breach affecting your data as required by law.
Our primary data region is Asia South (Mumbai). Some providers listed in section 3 may process data elsewhere; where required we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent transfer mechanism.
If we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and notify you in the app before it takes effect.
